Here Are The Modalities That We Use
We Believe It's Important For You To Know And Understand Them
Modalities using evidence-based treatments have yielded positive outcomes. Such treatment approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Exposure Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a psycho-social intervention that aims to improve mental health. CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.
Interpersonal psychotherapy is a brief, attachment-focused psychotherapy that centers on resolving interpersonal problems and symptomatic recovery. It is an empirically supported treatment that follows a highly structured and time-limited approach and is intended to be completed within 12β16 weeks.
Exposure Therapy
Exposure therapy is a technique in behavior therapy to treat anxiety disorders. Exposure therapy involves exposing the target patient to the anxiety source or its context without the intention to cause any danger. Doing so is thought to help them overcome their anxiety or distress.
Psychodynamic psychotherapy or psychoanalytic psychotherapy is a form of depth psychology, the primary focus of which is to reveal the unconscious content of a client's psyche in an effort to alleviate psychic tension.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based psychotherapy that began with efforts to treat borderline personality disorder. There is evidence that DBT can be useful in treating mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and for change in behavioral patterns such as self-harm, and substance abuse.
Anger management is a therapeutic program to prevent and control anger.

Testimonials
"Carla was referred to me by a friend of mine when I was going through a tough time (product of past and present events). I opened up to her on our first conversation because she was so easy to talk to. Really - it felt like I'd known her for years!
She is kind, genuine and does not judge. She has a gift of gently pulling out what is there that I don't always see. I am really grateful for Carla and would highly recommend her!β

"I could not express in words my gratitude for Lifeline Counseling, especially Kathryne Arnold. I have spent many years of my life searching for a professional that I could connect with, and that would not only walk me through my treatment plan, but validate my feelings along the way. I have finally found that place with Kathryne. I have never felt more cared for by a mental health professional and she has continually exceeded my expectations. If I could give 6 stars, I would in a heartbeat."
