Emergencies

In case of an emergency...

What is a behavioral health emergency?

  • Suicide Threats or Attempt - call 911!
  • Drug or Alcohol Overdose - call 911!
  • Threats of Violence or Homicide - call 911!

Call the office at (440) 942-0100 if you are an existing patient with an urgent behavioral health problem. We do our best to respond to urgent problems on a timely basis, but please understand that our phone is NOT answered by a live operator. Therefore, if your problem is an emergency that requires immediate action or hospitalization, please proceed to your local hospital emergency room and/or call 911.

If you are not being seen at LifeLine Counseling and Forensic Center and have a behavioral health emergency or urgent problem, please contact your primary care physician or your local hospital emergency room.

If you are not an existing patient, but are suicidal and accessing this information through our Web site, you may also call 1-800-SUICIDE day or night for help. And then read this information by clicking on suicide.
