LifeLine Counseling and Forensic Center is a general practice experienced in helping children, teens, adults, families and marriages. Although a person is assigned to a specific therapist, we consult together as a team when necessary to better serve you.

Children and Teens...

We love kids and teens! Our office has a playroom for younger children, as well as therapeutic materials for older kids and teens. We are experienced in the assessment of behavioral issues from the earliest ages. Coordination of care with your child's school and pediatrician is routine. Parents are routinely involved in our work with children and teens. Services with children focus on anxiety, depression, ADHD, sexual or physical abuse, divorce recovery, social adjustment, eating disorders, oppositional and defiant behavior, pervasive developmental disorders, bipolar disorders and schizophrenia. We are also able to do testing for educational and court purposes, including mental status and drug assessments.

Adults...

Individual counseling focuses on such areas as anxiety, depression, anger management, recovery from sexual or physical abuse, addictive behavior, sexual dysfunction, PTSD, eating disorders, stress management, bipolar disorders, adult ADHD, schizophrenia and more.

Family...

Family counseling is increasingly common to manage conflict, "blended" issues, child management and more.

Marital...

Marriage brings challenges in such areas as conflict, emotional and physical intimacy, communication, financial management and more. We can help with strengthening your marriage, as well as with divorce mediation and recovery.

Forensic...

Dr. Jim Davidson is available to provide consultation and review of existing criminal and civil psychological reports, including criminal and civil competency, sexual abuse, assessment of the adult psychological impact of childhood clergy or teacher sexual abuse domestic violence, child custody evaluations, client assessment and case preparation. Our service to you is based on a team approach. Our staff include psychological and counseling care. We also coordinate care with your primary care physician. Psychiatric care, when needed, is also available with several consulting psychiatrists. We are also accustomed to working with local hospitals, agencies and courts.
