Pornography is a multi-billion dollar industry that helped establish the VCR, and then the commercial success of the internet. A majority of internet users surf a pornography site sometime during the year.  It has been estimated that ten per-cent of those viewing pornography online have a compulsive need (or addiction).  

Pornography is typically destructive to close relationships. Counseling can help an individual overcome the compulsion to view pornography, while learning ways to value relationships with others.
