FEES & PAYMENTS

Forensic services may be retained by the court, agency, or attorney for the prosecution or defense.

For Attorneys: A retainer agreement is required for forensic services. A retainer fee is required except for government agencies.

For Individuals: Court ordered evaluations and court ordered therapy fees are not billable to insurance. Payment for court ordered matters usually is arranged with your attorney. However, there are some circumstances where payment is made directly by the party, such as child custody evaluations. Payment may be made by check or credit card: American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
