Your Insurance Coverage...

We tightly control our costs without sacrificing quality. We will check your insurance coverage for you with your carrier, and file your insurance claims.

Insurance information is obtained at intake for a new patient. We then contact your insurance carrier to determine outpatient mental health benefits. Based on your insurance company's information, we then inform you of any deductible, and your copay or coinsurance. Payment of your copay is due at the time of service.

If you choose to use insurance to help pay for your services, please understand that the nature of your treatment and diagnosis will be requested by your insurance company. Please note that insurance does not cover forensic or elective matters such as court evaluations and reports, personnel and school testing.

LifeLine Counseling Center does not take Medicaid, nor does it have a sliding fee schedule. We do not usually participate with insurance company EAP plans.

Managed Care Policies...

Some insurance companies employ managed care procedures for behavioral health coverage. If you have a managed care policy, you may be required to discuss your problems with a managed care intake worker before your first appointment. Your company will then authorize a certain number of sessions and give you a case number. You must follow the procedures of your managed care company in order to receive benefits.
