Dr. James Davidson provides forensic psychological services. Forensic psychology is the intersection of psychology and the law. Courts rely upon the specialized knowledge of forensic psychologists to assist them in answering complex legal questions in criminal, civil and family court proceedings.

Dr. Davidson has specialized training in forensic psychology, conducts comprehensive forensic psychological examinations, provides attorney consultation, and serves as an expert witness. Dr. Davidson is accustomed to providing the Court with comprehensive, timely and accurate forensic evaluations with defensible conclusions that meet the Daubert standard. Dr. Davidson has criminal and civil court expert witness experience. He is experienced in forensic evaluations with children, adolescents and adults, as well as individuals that are mentally retarded diagnosed or with pervasive developmental disabilities.

Dr. Davidson is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, American Psychology-Law Society, American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children, American Psychological Association and Ohio Psychological Association.

Forensic Services May Be Retained by the Court, Agency, Plaintiff or Defense.     All forensic services are conducted in an impartial and objective manner.  For ethical reasons, I do not deal directly with any party to a case. Forensic services may be retained by the attorney (or agency) for either party in litigation or the Court. A retainer is required for all cases except in the case of government agencies.
